Using nanoporous material to extract moisture from air, utilizing solar energy and adsorption mechanisms is a promising approach to provide drinking water in arid regions of our globe. Omar Yagi and his team have published an innovative approach to engineer such a system. MOFapps CTO Francis Meunier reviewed and added to Yagi´s publication to such an extent that Science published his comments.
